Since we had decided to use an underground parking rather than a bedroom, we needed permission to shoot. We had decided to go shoot in the underground parking of The Centaurus Mall, a well known mall in F8, Islamabad. We asked the help desk to give us the phone number of the mall authorities that we needed to talk to in order to get the permission to shoot. We then asked our media studies teacher to first call them and discuss it with the marketing director, Mr. Kashif Butt. I, along with Haseeb prepared a rough draft for the permission letter. We checked in with the school administration, and asked them to produce us an official letter. Haseeb met with Mr. Kashif Butt, and got the permission approved. Here is a scanned copy of the formal permission letter.
We all agreed and decided on the DID narrative, and will work on it. The story revolves around a young man, named Ali. He suffers from split personality disorder and doesn't have much control over his actions or himself. One of his personalities is of an innocent, normal person who is rather friendly, whereas his other personality is a cold blooded murderer. His two personalities debate and clash with each other in terms of views, beliefs and actions and they have almost nothing in common, but the host body. The film opening sequence is supposed to show Ali's struggle, as the girl that he likes, who he is on good terms with via his good personality, is murdered by Ali's other (cold) personality. I organized this information in a narrative style that both explains the story and plays out the events in order. Who Am I? Ali, a patient of split personality disorder, is sitting on a park bench, under a tree, holding a diary in his hands. The page has “You have to kill he...

We also discussed other rules. Nose room, or leading room is the space in the direction that the subject is facing. This makes the picture appear well composed. Although Center of frame is usually avoided, as it appears cliché, and hence rule of thirds was exercised and followed, sometimes, subject is placed in center of frame to indicate authority. Headroom is the distance between the subject's head and the top of the frame. To create a cinematic, well composed ...
